About:

Julia P. Raite is an artist + naturalist based in Lincolnville, Maine.

She earned an undergraduate degree from Brooks Institute of Photography and is currently working toward a second degree in Ecology and Environmental Science from the University of Maine. She also writes and submits the occasional op-ed.

Her interests include: ecological restoration, sustainable horticulture, and art + literature having to do with evolution, natural history, and the human condition.
